It looks like they are both giving a subtle hint with the new version having a darker audio meter. They are wearing the same shade of dark grey/black!

Back to the OP, no, there will be no more FCPX updates, at all, ever. A guy I know who dates the cousin of a person who renovated the kitchen of someone who went to high school with someone who used to work at Apple back in the 2000's said Apple was going to EOL Final Cut Pro X, which is why we've not seen an update in so long.

I may post that on Facebook... :evil:

No, it is simply the coloring of the HDMI video recorder they use. That's all it is, and they are using FCPX 10.2.1. Verified.

The video is quite black crushed. There's no detail at all in either Steve's or Mark's shirts.

So here is screen shot where the blacks are crushed... give the main storyline in the timeline a little more attention. Then compared it to the Ripple Training screen grab.

Ok, a blacker background to the VU meters..means what? It might be a new version, none of the icons on the screen have changed, there is apart from the black VU meter region, nothing to suggest a change, an obvious change...

It may be a red, sorry, black herring, or it may be something new...Bloody hell I am fed up waiting, I just want to see what is new...Make us wait until before, no make that after WWDC, then after the next, sorry, next after next Mac Pro update, or FCPX is EOL...
