Ok, so i'm working in FCPX to edit videos. I create chapter markers, then I have to export out of FCPX and switch over to Windows to use Sony Vegas DVD Architect to burn a Blu-ray. When I bring the files into DVD Architect, it does not bring in or carry with it, the data for the chapter markers, so I have to manually enter them in myself.
Is there a way to export data out of fcpx that will give me some kinda file that will list the time and name of each chapter marker in a project?
Or is there a better way?
Right now I'm just opening a notepad on my iPhone and writing down the time and name of each chapter marker so i have it as reference when i switch my iMac over to Windows 10
The only way i found to export markers from fcpx 10.3 is to convert the xml of your sequence with XtoCC, then import the 'XtoCC xml " in Final cut 7... (without relinking media) delete the audio tracks to avoid duplicates and finally use the export markers list function of fcp7; You will have a txt file that you can open with numbers or excell .
Hope it will help you !
