The deluge of new plugins post NAB continues. New releases include a utility plugin for getting the timing right when editing to a script and a couple of new free plugins from Andy Mees.
Editing to a script without a scratch voice track can be a pain. We have had to down the mouse and read the script to picture many a times. Voiceover is a $99 generator plugin that puts the words onscreen at the correct pace so you can concentrate on cutting the pictures.
The plugin not only works on Final Cut Pro X, but FCP7, Motion, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. It has been written by e-Postprod, if the name looks familiar, they are also behind the FCP7 e-Watcher application.
It's one of those plugins that is harder to describe what it does than to show the concept courtesy of YouTube. As Voiceover uses the FxFactory plugin management system, they have produced a demo of it in action.
Andy Mees's three free plugins that he recently published have been well received and downloaded many times. Almost as if the ink hasn't dried on the first article, Andy has released another two free plugins! They also use the FxFactory plugin management system from Noise Industries.
His website hasn't been updated yet, but we can use the description and links from the Noise Industries page.
