The Watch: Real 3D 2.0 Motion Model was created by Pielle
Continues the 3D modeling experiments with replicator. This new FCPX generator is an Apple Watch 3D Model .
For model presentation I've created an animation with objects in dynamic mutation. All are made with replicator, this allowed me to made very interesting effects. to stay faithful to the original object I create a dedicated font: ZPL-Watch.ttf.
Very particular was the watchband modeling, obtained with the use of four replicators. The published parameters allow you to change the dial images: faces. You can choose between a traditional fixed image, two animations: Mickey and jellyfish, and a drop zone.
Unzip the attachment and install the font; put the “The Watch” folder in User / Your name / Movies / Motion / Generators / Pielle.
I recommend you to watch the animation vimeo.com/170873082 it is only made with plain Apple Motion.
Have good fun Pielle

Thumb in would be Meta, for the purist of us metal heads out there, but most of us are lazy and don't bother pulling the thumb in. Thumb out is "I Love..." in American Sign Language. So it is sort of a little of both. Was the art work for this.

Pielle these 3D text models of yours are all amazing and it blows me away with what can be done in FCPX's 3D Text environment.

If you are curious and want to know, there is a tutorial "Build a 3D iPad Air. Real 3D Tutorial" in the How To section where I explain the way you can work in the 3D Text environment of Motion.
