I've spent a bit of time relearning Motion to update my Scanlines effect (also seen in this forum). The scanlines are still here but I have added many, MANY more features to make your video look as horrible as it deserves to! Filters like Apple's BadTV aren't very good since the designers weren't really familiar with how scanlines and stuff worked and it's very basic. Maybe I should have called this EvenWorseTV. Click the link to watch the Youtube demonstration of it where I apply it to a mixture of real video and videogame footage to demonstrate it. Determine if it's something you'd like (download link is in the Youtube description box).

I recommend watching the video on Youtube itself instead of the tiny player that gets embedded here (click on the title in the video window) if you wanna see the details. And as a video editor I know you do. Or at least I hope you do.
