State of external GPUs was created by MiniEditor
So I'm still rocking a mini (SSD and 16GB) and was wondering what the state of the external GPU's is as of Aug 2016. I have see the BiZon, sonnet and the Kickstarter project and the like . Are any workable without messing with the OS with Kext files and the like?
I know TB3 is the way to go but even the specs on the current TB2 would be a huge jump over out little integrated HD4000 that seems to be still OK with my setup with iPhone and GH4 4k video. Just the rendering part that seems to be tiresome.
Seems like this would be a no brainer for anyone on a budget.
