Odd how LPX has a "minor update" and they always include tons of new features and sounds. Today we wen from 10.2.2 to 10.2.3 and got 300+ impressive new functions, enhancements, bug fixes and sounds. Way too many to list here, but well worth checking out the release notes. And this is a MINOR update? Hope FCPX, Motion and Compressor get this kind of "minor update" soon. I guess LPX gets all of Apple's love... (sigh)

Unfortunately none of the effects in LPX's "Metering" category show up in FCPX. So no, it's not in FCPX. Maybe with the next FCPX update, perhaps. One can hope.

Then again, you'd have to apply it to each clip independently. FCPX has no Master output that one can monitor or put effects on, so you couldn't (without major PITA workarounds) make it useful in FCPX. At least not until we have some sort of mixer with a master output channel we can monitor and apply effects to.

FYI, I had to reindex all my loops once the update was finished. Also, there is more additional content to download. New "Stringed" stuff and some new Percussion in the World category, full of new "Chinese Traditional" instrument sounds. This sound update takes up an additional 5 GB of drive space.
