Well they seem to like it.
And it does' look very exciting. Time to get the instruments out of the cupboard. Obviously within the context of this forum the interest will be on how it interacts with FCPX on a real world audio in and out basis. I'm holding off downloading it until I can find out whether to totally trash my existing version of Logic Pro which was installed off disc a while back. ( Remember discs? ) But this could be seriously good news for us FCPX editors, a couple of clicks to export the XML, a bit of sweetening in Logic Pro X and a couple of clicks back to FCPX. Could it be this simple? |

Maybe, but not yet. Real round-tripping isn't a reality yet. It's XML in and out.
Though the fact that FCPX brings LogicX projects back in as Compound Clips certainly hints at the direction things may go. Motion projects embedded as CCs (with their own identifiable icon like layered Photoshop files or Multi-cam clips) makes good sense. |

I knew it was XML out and XML but where did you find the information about Logic X projects coming back in as compound clips?
