I have a budget of $1500-$1700 to get a mac to run FCP on. I will mainly be editing real estate videos for my website from my canon HF G20 and motorcycle videos from a gopro. What is the best mac to suite my needs? An older mac pro from ebay? I like the look of imacs, what about the $1500 21.5 imac nvidia 750M, with a 1TB fusion drive? Any input would be appreciated

get any iMac plus 2 ext. HDD, usb3 ...

Being on a much smaller shoestring budget, I'm editing on a MacMini (late 2012)/16GBs, plus a dozen HDD, 2 combined via DiskUtility as a Raid0 - awesome!

The externals are a) for Events, b) for backup.
