still brainstorming for a monitor solution since there is like one Thunderbolt monitor on the market!
I defiantly need to start investing into a hard drive solution. So I had my experience with Lacie which I really don't care about anymore and G-Tech drives. That are pretty reliable.
I have been hearing allot about Drobo and Caldigit. I never really heard of Caldigit and seems they share the same enclosures with Lacie. But supposedly it is the same guy that founded G-Tech.
So what your experiences with Drobo and Caldigit vs G-Tech?
I'em looking for a working drive and a expandable solution for archiving. The Drobo B800FS look neat for a archival solution?
What is your price range?
What capacity are you looking for?
Are you looking for single drives enclosures, or RAID?
Personally I'd stay away from Drobo, they're throughput in the real world never impressed me much.
