This is BALLOON, a simple to use Balloon-Generator.
After installation, you’ll find it in your Generator tab.

BALLOON offers two OnScreenControls, one for setting the light position, another to position the balloon.
In the Inspector of BALLOON you can set keyframes (center) to animate the balloon on screen.
Scale does what it says, …



You can adjust the color with Hue…

Style comes in two flavours:
• balloon with a string (both objects slowly wiggle in the wind…)
• small sign: here, some note is attached to the balloon, in the Inspector tab you’ll find basic title settings



By adding several instances of this generator you can create a flock of balloons.
When using just one letter, as in this demo, you have to adjust the text’ baseline.

(Owners of Motion5 can modify this generator and create a Particle-Generator out of it, …)

GREAT, Karsten. I like this a lot. Now trying to think of some upcoming videos where I incorporate it. Also you included a nifty install program that I would like to get hold of. Is that some free thing you got off the net? Is it a commercial product? Or did you create it? (Sorry if this is a somewhat newbie question, still getting my feet wet, here )

The Installer…
Although it should be drop-dead-easy to drag a folder (=plugin) into some other corresponding folder (~/Movies/Motion Template/yaddayadda…), Apple-heads like me prefer some one-click-done solution.

There're, btmk, two:
MTT , by honorable forum member and for-decades-Apple-mastermind Andreas Kiel … and what I'm too dumb to using it
Andreas, fellow countryman of mine, so no language barrier, tried his best to navigate me - nope, me 'mouse-pusher', no engineer.-
It comes with dozen of options (…that's where you lose me instantly) => have a look at it FIRST!

pkg-maker - weapon of my choice, recommended to me by honorable broad member Paul , which is part of Xcode, Apple's Dev Tool. You need a (free) Dev Account, dl the 2 tons of Xcode, and inside you find the pkg-maker

Just wanted to give you a heads up. I took the liberty of using these balloons for a new project I am doing. This will be a new (free again) plugin I will be putting out there for anyone interested. I used your balloons at the end of the video(with credit to you, of course). Hope that is OK.

btw:
love that 'plop' when you let the ballon vanish .... inspiring for an update, to add a 'plop' animation (1-2 frames of an exploding balloon). Unfortunately, the actual vers. of M5 doesn't allow to share audio via plugin .......

... so many ideas, so lil' time.

Your 'accordion' effect is again excellent executed, I'm impressed by your excessive usage of masks&layers... a nice one for stills, on my behalf ........

Moin, Carsten, ich mag solche "kleine Spielereien" - hast Du wirklich toll gemacht!
Ich hatte mir gestern Abend noch selbst helfen können, indem ich mir mein altes Macbook von 2009 genommen habe und habe dort die Dateien mit dem Installer entdecken können.
Dennoch vielen Dank für deine schnelle Hilfe und Reaktion.

Bist Du noch weiter aktiv im "FCPX und Motion" Bereich?

Mir gehen langsam die Ideen aus, bzw stoß ich an Grenzen meines Könnens, vieles was ich im Kopp hab geht nur mit dem pluginSDK von Apple, sowas zB
