Hey everyone
I recently watched the BlackFish documentary and during it there was a section where there was an effect that looked like a load of old TV's turning off which I thought was pretty cool.
The image squashes down in the middle of the screen and then turns into a little white dot in the middle of the screen for a moment or two before the screen goes black.

Does anyone know of a plugin like this? Preferably free :)

Thanks in advance.

You can use Motion.

Its pretty simple to transform your video dimension to skink to a dot, you can then fade in a little white dot. Its all about the timing and making it look fluid. If you are new to motion there are a ton of tutorials around the basics.

I would try and look at the desired effect frame by frame to work out the details. Otherwise I don't know of any free ones..try mGlitch by MotionVFX, its worth the cheddar.

Sure, I understand it can be created in Motion, I'm just to darned lazy to do it myself :)
I'm sure many people must have done this already before though.
