fsorvin Sharpen Tools

Using ideas from Bruce Fraser , and the way he does sharpening in photography, I built a set of FCPX filters to be able to do sharpening in passes.

The core of the idea is to separate sharpening into:

• source optimising sharpening,
• creative sharpening, and
• output sharpening.

So, I built:

• Unsharp Mask, better than just plain ol' sharpen,
• Edge Sharpen, using edge detection, and
• and Output Sharpen layer, to adjust sharpening for different resolution deliveries.
