Ensure each target Mac has the most recent software updates installed. Check for available updates by choosing Software Update from the Apple () menu.
On your administrator Mac system, download the software from the Mac App Store. If you purchased volume licenses, you can download the software by entering one of the redemption codes provided.
Deploy the applications to all of the target systems using Apple Remote Desktop, NetInstall, or NetRestore. When deploying, do one of the following:
If no earlier version of Final Cut Studio is installed on the computer, copy Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5, and Compressor 4 to the Applications folder at the root level of your hard drive.
If an earlier version of Final Cut Studio is already installed on the computer, first create a folder titled "Final Cut Pro" in the Applications folder at the root level of your hard drive. Then, copy Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5 and Compressor 4 to the "Final Cut Pro" folder you created.

Note: Only the Mac system on which the application was originally downloaded will be notified of software updates. To deploy the update across all target systems, download the software update from the Mac App Store on the original system. Then, deploy the new version of the application to all of the target systems.
