Could someone elaborate in this? i've been looking in the internet for this but i can't find anything related to FCPX only FCP Legacy. so any help would be highly appreciated

set 'pan mode' to 'dialogue'.

Assuming you are working on a Stereo Project and you have dual mono clips (like a boom track and a lav track from camera) just make sure to make them dual mono in the Inspector. If you want pan them equally out of both speakers, you can leave the pan setting to none.
