This is more of a tip than a tutorial.
If you have a template created in Motion, and published to FCPX, with titles that are specifically laid out and have no need for the text fields to change position on screen you can lock them in position.
Rig all the position parameters to a slider, position the slider around half way, and don't publish it.
Now when you select the text fields in the FCPX viewer you cant accidentally move them.
