How to use iZotope's RX 2 to reduce noise in your audio steams in post - A fantastic alternative to Final Cut Pro X's reduce background noise option. iZotope RX 2 is much more powerful - and reducing noise is just one of it's many features.

I know this tutorial isn't exactly about Final Cut Pro X, however it does relate. And I'm pretty sure capturing less than ideal audio is a common problem in many users productions. I use iZotope's RX 2 (Advanced), on lots of my production audio (depending on the situation of course) and then import the stream into FCPX before sync'ing it with the DSLR footage.

I hope you guys find this tutorial useful.

P.S. An important note... even though I'm using the advanced version in the tutorial - the regular version has the same 'Denoiser' functionality.
