Custom Key Command Sets was created by Marc Lucas
Previous to 10.0.6 I only had one CC set. After the new update I noticed that all the new features key commands where not working and couldn't been seen in the menus. So what I had to do is create another CC set and they appeared. Its a bit of a pain if this is how its going to be after every update?

No update so far has lost any custom command sets. Mine stayed in tact. No reason to think it will happen again.

I didn't lose any keyboard sets, what happened was the custom keyboard set that I had (with only one modification - toggle colour board) didn't update with the new features key commands.

When new default keyboard command sets are released with new versions of FCPX, they do not override any settings on current custom keyboard command sets.
Ex: FCPX 10.0.6 was released with the ability to slip clips without affecting connected clips by holding down the grave or tilde key, that would not have been added to your custom command set. However creating any new command sets will have this as a default command assigned. I assume the reasoning behind this is so they don't override any commands you have assigned.

It would be nice if there was a way to merge new commands with an existing user set with the option to choose if there is a conflict. Looks like a good item for feedback.
