Creating Custom Destinations & "Open with:"

There is a new term when we export things in FCP X 10.0.6. We now call exporting “Sharing”, which I kind of like. It’s friendly and warm and fuzzy. We now have something called a “Destination”. This term comes from Final Cut Server since that’s the database engine FCP X runs on. A Destination is simply a preset you create that sends a copy of your file with preset transcoding parameters, sometimes a preset task after that to open in another application also.
