Is there a way to quickly center an anchor point on an object?

Use the Anchor Point tool.
In Motion select the layer the object is in.
Right-click the object in the Canvas.
From that pop-up menu select Anchor Point.
Adjust as needed.

Thanks Ben.
I was thinking more of a single click like reset would put the anchor point in the middle.
Or if we could configure it so it is in the middle and not in the corner.

The middle is what it was assigned as when the object was created, not what we would logically consider the middle. There's a reset button for every parameter, including Anchor Point.

What specific object are you having issues with?

Your right for the object.
I should have specified...text tool.
I believe the text default anchor position is the lower left corner.
If I want to move it in the center I have to do it manually?

Bottom left if it is left justified, bottom center for center justified, bottom right for right justified.
It is always the baseline of the first line of text, thus changing the Baseline changes anchor point, so center justified and pull baseline down can center the anchor point.
Many apps treat text this way.
But basically to just change the anchor point in general, right-click, select the Anchor Point tool, move it, very quick and easy.
