So as many others, we have been doing allot more social member since the COVID situation.

One would think using Apple Motion to create multiple aspect ratio videos for Social Media would be perfect!
Well until you come across one problem.
We all know the following resolution 1080 x 1350, 1080 x 1080, 1080 x 1920 and 1920 x 1080.

So the problem is when creating a 1920 x 1080 16:9 for youtube and then use a Snapshot for 9:16 the resolution changes to 608 x 1080 which then becomes a problem when you have a key visual set in the correct resolution (1080 x 1920).
Yes, we have tried to set the project to 1080 x 1920 but then you change the Snapshot to 1:1 which then becomes to 1920 x 1920 and so on.

At this moment we find Snapshots in Apple Motion somewhat useless.

I wonder if Apple will ever fix this.

I totally agree regarding the snapshots. It does become frustrating when you receive all assets that where designed to fit in all aspect ratio. But Motion crops down the resolution for 9:16, set scaling.

Make a different template for each aspect ratio, easy.
