Im attempting to make an overlay for instagram, I've all but finished it but I'm having issues with using it in Final Cut Pro, essentially the parameters I've used in motion are what I want the default parameters to be in Final Cut Pro so that when I use the effect in Final Cut Pro I don't have to change anything.

However whenever I place the effect on a clip in FCP it returns all the parameter values to their defaults. Is there a way I can use the parameters I've set in Motion as defaults in FCP.

This includes keyframed parameters in Motion.
I'd also need it to work this way as I wish to produce and share this effect with these parameters.

Thanks.

Right-click the effect, from that menu select "Open In Motion". Set as desired. Save. Done.
