Apple would do this via Apple Maps, and I wouldn't hold my breath. Even though Motion has it's own dev team, I've no clue what they do most of the year (not Motion dev obviously) because Motion gets so little attention, no really significant updates.
MotionVFX perhaps could incorporate this into mO2. It'd think that'd be much more realistic to hope for that, rather than hoping for Apple making Motion an actual modern, significant application themselves.
It looked like google built the tools to work inside of after effects. I’m sure if enough demand was there they would do the same for motion. Tons of other companies do this with 3d camera exports, I don’t think this needs Apple maps or any of Apples input.
It looks very cool, although they specify not for commercial use (educational, ENG, etc. only). I submitted my request to get access to it on their website and am waiting to hear if I am approved to use it. I told them how I intend to use it, so we'll see how that goes.
