… I realised, I have no clue how to set Timeline Pins in Motion.
Motions (and FCPX) Manual doesn't even list them …
When you apply, for instance, the Clone Spin transition, some are way ahead of the edit point, some not …

I've never played with them, but here's some info on using pins in Motion's docs. Hopefully it's what you're looking for.

ahaaa… I stand corrected - those Pins ARE mentioned in the Manual :lol:

and Motion Sensei F.Mahoney shared some of his insights.

… although nobody can answer my question, how to 'pre-set' the position of a Timeline Pin (see my illustrated question at discussion.apple.com) … Fox' assumption is some 'evenly spread' mechanism… that is an excellent observation, but a vague explanation…
