Update title / transition automatically?

Update title / transition automatically? was created by Suzero
I know this is a long shot and probably technically not possible but I was wondering....
If I make a title template in Motion and use it in FCPX. I add the relevant text into the title in my project.
Then I decide the template needs tweaking. I save the adjusted template with the same name, thereby replacing the old one in my Templates folder. However, the title in my project remains as it was, using the old version of the template.
Which means I always have to manually remake the title in my FCPX project using the new version of the template. Laborious.
Or is there a way to have it automatically update the template used thereby keeping the text changes I made originally?
For titles I can imagine this is impossible, but perhaps for transitions it seems like it might be technically possible.
Any suggestions / thoughts on this?

Hello,
Have you tried relaunching FCPX?

When you drop something into the Timeline, you've made a "copy" of it in the Timeline. Aside from Compounds and Multicams, those copies are independent entities from the Browser original.
Thus, the Timeline retains the title template in the form it was in when you applied it. It won't automatically update when you update the master from the Browser. Yes, you have to manually do a Replace Edit from the newly updated master in the Browser.
But all the text you typed in to that Browser version should remain during a title template replace edit.

Thanks for your replies so far.
Relaunching FCPX does not influence this issue.
Replacing the title with the new version of the title using "Replace from Start" does indeed work!
Thank you!
