Link behaviour font

Hi ,

just try to link fonts and came across that entry from 2011. Is this still the same in 2017 that Font parameter can't be linked? Any workaround ?

No, the Font parameter is one of a few that can't be Linked.

Several can not for technical reasons. Only the Motion dev team knows why, but there's the facts of life. But it think it's easy to understand why a Font can't be linked to other "numerical" values. How would you determine what "Font" is 11, which is 5.7, which is 9.5?

You can not link the font type, but for sure one can link the font colour:



and, as asked in the linked discussion, for sure you can rig the font type

sounds great and I assume something similar or even better then the REVL Track the action App ( revl.com/ ) . So user just needs to select the amount of time for the summary of a game and the your "auto-edit football" will generate the best scenes ;-) and no manual trimming and selection is required anymore. GREAT stuff ;-))
