Copying objects and groups into new projects without their animations?

Hi... so often I want to reuse the motion objects I've created by copying and pasting them into a new project. But how do I copy them without all the animations keyframes in the source project?
Probably pretty elementary but I spend a lot of time deleting all the timing info. Thanks!

You can't, doing a copy includes everything. You can save it as a Favorite, perhaps. Just once, put it in a project, remove all animations, then save as a favorite, and it is there always.

In fact, favorites of various types are little known in Motion, but are really super helpful. I'd do this, go to the Motion help doc online (link above), use the search feature and look up "favorites". All sorts of things you an save.
