Chakra like moving lights

Hi.

I need to either find footage long enough to transition, or be able to make chakra like lights for a meditation video. Something like that starts around 5:25 of this johnedward.net/video/7251/day-1 -- or like the attached pics.

I'd appreciate any input.

It seems the video is protected for members.

Based on the images, that would be easy in Motion using either a particle emitter or replicator, along with a "god rays" type effect. Not sure "exactly" what you have in mind, as the video is for members of that site only, as stated previously.

Thank you both. I thought they had a public video available and I thought that's what I posted, but they changed it this year. Here's a still shot, which is probably most what I'm looking for. Perhaps this is the 'god rays' you're talking about Ben? If so, yes, that's what I want. Where would I find that? Is that available in motion?

Gods Rays, Light Fingers, ... several phrases for the same thing: Volumetrics is the 'neutral' word I have learned.

God Rays are not an independent light source object shining from behind things, but rays emitting from the actual object (such as text or shape) as an effect/filter. Bit of a difference for sure.

Volumetrix is what I described, light rays from the object itself, not an independent light source seen elsewhere in the frame. Your first sample shows a visible light object behind the text, that's just a light object in the frame, not really what god rays has traditionally meant. Your second example are traditional god rays, or as mObject calls it (and as it is referred to in the 3D modeling world, "Volumetrics").
