Hi guys, i have a job coming soon requiring this type of animation..
I am sure Motion 5 can do the job, but i just want to hear from anyone who has done similar to find out what the basic animations are..
I am assuming you would use a lot of the inbuilt text behaviours and animations to create this.

It can be done easily. Ripple Training has a tutorial for it. There's also a lot on YouTube about this topic.

I recently did a 15 second commercial similar to this style. I animated it all myself not using behaviours and it only took a couple of hours....

Very do-able in Motion!

Camera moves, you'd make "null objects" (like a rectangle shape you turn the viability off) and use a camera "Frame" behavior. All the objects could easily be animated and manipulated. That's a pretty basic piece to put together.

Respectfully, maybe a full Motion course would help you along faster. You'll get a ton of techniques under your belt really fast.
