Cloned replicator sequence behavior, not 3D?

Cloned replicator sequence behavior, not 3D? was created by Juha
Another question about behaviors. This time it's Sequence replicator.
First here are sample video and file.
Video
File
Problem :
All sequence animation will disappear and go back to default when behavior range will end. Manual says it's not possible to add retiming behavior directly into replicator, but if I make Clone Layer from it, then it's possible to add Hold Frame behaviour and freeze animation of Clone Layer. Indeed, but for some reason Cloned layer doesn't behave like it's source. Why? It seems like it's 2D and not 3D even layer property is 3D.

Clones don't correctly inherit 3D properties from the parent layers.
In this case you could simply make a Clone of your first clone and move it to where the original is and turn off the visibility of the original layer. The Hold behavior will carry over to the clone of the clone.

Too bad, so there is no way to freeze sequence animation except using Traversal as Custom and add Key Frame to it? It's bit silly because I thought behavior is all about NO KEY FRAMES.
Adding Rate or Ramp behavior to Location parameter are not option since when those behavior range will end, all go back to zero.
It would make more sense if behavior length will determinate animation length and animation simply end after behavior range and keep End Condition as Hold to keep all on it's place.
Have to wrap my brain to understand how Motion deals with behaviors.

To be fair, I don't think Apple ever meant for behaviors to be able to do absolutely every kind of animation function without ever having to go near a keyframe. They're designed to simplify and speed up a wide range of animation types but they're not meant to be the total solution.
It would be nice to see them putting a bit more work into developing Behaviors further but they have stayed pretty much the same for a very long time now so don't hold your breath.
