Is Motion 5 right for this? was created by Gloss
Greetings
Firstly I would like to explain what I want to do.
I am an amateur parodying a sport coach in a variety of ways.
1) I will use existing HD footage of him in conversation, but would like to change the background and superimpose a different scene.
2) I would like superimpose the coaches face onto another body in unrelated film footage.
So the real question is, can I do this with Motion 5, and if not what else do I need to consider?
I know Motion is dirt cheap compared to Adobe stuff, so really hoping I can do most on Motion. Also remember it must just be good enough to parody, in other words the effectiveness of the narrative is not compromised by something that does not look 100% realistic.
Thanks for your time!

yes and no, there will be a roto and key framing work. Most of it is possible with the question how good should it look?
For the hand part I would suggest After Effects and its puppet tool, oh it has a auto roto tool to.
If you need help for breakdown let us know!

Thanks thats exactly what I was loking for, a yes or no. Unfortunately AE sounds pretty great, but for now will get as far as possible with Motion.
