Using Quicktime Movies in Motion Effects was created by awelgraven
I have a 12 second, loopable movie within a Motion Effect project. However, when I apply it to a 30 second clip in Final Cut X, I can tell FCPx is playing back the Motion Effect at roughly half speed, in effect, stretching the 12 second movie clip to 30 seconds, when all I want is for the movie to loop every 12 seconds.
Is there any way to do this?

I think today's upgrade just might fix this issue - let us know if it does

You may also need to set the Motion template you created, what ever layer that movie clip is in, for it's End Condition to be "Loop".
