FCP7 Not outputting moving video via canopus box

I am still trying to solve this issue. If I use any on the PAL DV or HDV templates for the original media from my aging Camcorder everything work fine, I can select the correct template and the output via Firewire through the Canopus box to the TV show moving video.

The problem I have it that I am trying to Edit a 1280x720p .mov file taken from a canon camera
There does not seem to be a default template for this and I have tried to edit various ones ( HD ) but always the end result is that the video will play on the timeline but the output via Firewire to the Canopus box OR selecting to preview full screen on the second monitor results in a frozen still image. If I move the Play head the image does not move until I stop the play head and the that last image will appear.
