I'm using FCP 7, I've uploaded Lumix GH2 footage that was shot in lower lighting conditions (inside). This is simple interview type footage
The footage seems like frames are being dropped, the audio is OK but the not in sync with the footage.

Footage was imported as 1920X1080 23.98 fps, any suggestions on how to match or "smooth out" the footage to match the audio correctly.

Sequence settings are 1920X1080 HDTV 1080i (16:9)

I'd say that the footage is OK but your computer might not play it back in real time. GH2 footage is compressed in H264. At the time of FCP7 the idea was to conform all the footage to ProRes before starting to edit.
