Audio Keyframes was created by Rbelfi
Hello,

I'm having problems remembering how to set audio keyframes in FCPX. I want to adjust the volume of a song through my piece, but I can't seem to figure out how to add my keyframes. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks,

Rob

Option click on the volume line in the audio in the timeline.

P.S. You can also add keyframes in the audio inspector for a clip.

I figured out how to create keyframes in the audio inspector after I posted this, though using option click is a lot easier. Thanks for the help!

Wow amazing what you can learn here. I had no idea you could set keyframes in the Audio Inspector!

You can also use the range selector tool to set a range on the timeline, then drag the audio level line up/down inside the range. This will automatically set 4 keyframes for a drop/raise in audio levels.

Yes that is my preferred method. Love it.

When I read set keyframes in the inspector I was thinking you could add keyframes to clips before you edited them. But it's not the case as far as I can tell.
