I'd love to get my old Powermate working with FinalCut, too. Scrolling web sites with it is only so useful; it would be great to use it for skimming along the timeline. Any luck with this?

My Logitech MX mouse can scroll using the side roller, so I have put the PowerMate in the drawer to save desk space.

I've also got one laying in the bottom of a desk drawer. Not sure what I'd use it for. One hand on the Magic Mouse, the other on the keyboard... I'm not inclined to move either hand unless there's a really good reason.
Might be fun to test though!
