New MacBook Pro, FPCX update, Monterey update, Cinema Grade Beta perfect storm

So I got a new 2021 16" MacBook Pro, migrated everything from my older 16" MacBook Pro.  Updated FCPX, upgraded to Monterey (as I was sleeping - gotta disable that feature!).  Then when I opened a huge project I've been working on, no Cinema Grade because Apple wasn't ready for them or vice-versa, so they had a workaround involving Rosetta and adding code to Terminal.  Long story somewhat shorter - workaround didn't work and my projects in that library take over 4 minutes to load and seem unstable.  I've been on the phone with Apple and they seem to think fooling around with code in the terminal is to blame.  The projects open fine on my old Mac but not the new one - and old projects seem to work OK - a little slow to load but otherwise fine.   I have no idea if adding that code screwed up my library or if all this simultaneous updating had something to do with it.  I'd like to trade in my old MacBook Pro but I still need it to work on this project.  I know - many rookie mistakes (how long have I been doing this?) but it is what it is.  Any advice?  thx!

Have you asked the Cinema Grade folks how to undo the code tweak they had you perform?

I've updated my mac to Monterey a week ago and having the same problems w cinema grade

10.6.1 was released on Nov 15. You should contact the developer about Cinema Grade.
