That specific interface should work with Macs. Audio hardware interface is based on being macOS compatible, not FCP compatible. It simply has to support for Core Audio–compliant MIDI and audio hardware.
Personally I'd save some money and go with the PreSonus AudioBox.
If the plugins come in the Audio Units format, they'll work. Plus, I'm not sure those plugins are any better than what comes with Logic. I've been recording music for literally a bit over 4 decades now, I have a boat-load of third-party audio plugins, and I've ended up trashing most of them because they're not any better than what comes with Logic.
Just for a single audio track, I prefer to use fcpx rather than logic.If I can't use the SSL plugins, that's okay, but I plan to buy the ssl audio interface.
