Hi,

I may need to delver an AS-11 files to the BBC soon and I can't find any up to date resource on how to do this online. I've found this tutorial for doing it on an AVID but can't find a way to enter the metadata in a similar way though FCPX.

Most of the info relating to AS-11 and FCPX seems to be five years old. A colleague told me the BBC takes care of all this in house but this is a very tight turnaround job so I may have to deliver it myself. Can anyone help? Cheers, James

Thanks! I've spoken with the author of that article. And he was the one telling me he hasn't supplied an AS-11 for years and the BBC do it in house. Also the DDP Metadata editing software link to in the article to the DPP website has now changed. Can't find it anywhere! I'll call the BBC direct today. Thanks again..

UPDATE!!

I've found the app! Read here from their website:

If you require a copy of the DPP Metadata Application, you can download it without support or warranty from this link. It relies on old versions of Java which have known security vulnerabilities, and you use it at your own risk. It is also 32-bit, which means it is not compatible with the latest releases of macOS. We strongly recommend using a commercially available tool instead.

I'll see if it still works and report back.
