I record video for microstocks, the camera can 4K 100fps h. 265 in the log, one day of shooting takes about 60-80 gigabytes. I create a new library, a new project, in FCPX 10.4.8 and upload it directly to the timeline, create optimized media ProRes 422, apply LUT to all the material, so it's easier to watch all the material.
but! that's the problem! after an hour of working with the timeline, the SSD library becomes 900 GB! and it keeps growing, so I'm stopping the rendering process. I don't know what FCPX does at this time, I just watch the video and do the cutting, no special effects. and I don't know what to do with it, because the SSD space is running out and the project just can't be saved. please tell me what to do?
Go to Preferences and turn background rendering off.
In the Browser, select the Library.
Then go to the File menu, Delete All Generated Library Files, and delete ALL render files.
Leave background rendering OFF!
