I am making a presentation video and for some reason the high resolution TIFF images I have in the library always look a little anti-aliased and soft on the timeline and in the exported video.
I can look at the library image in the preview window and it is sharp as a tack. I drag the same image down into the timeline and it has a slight softness to it that is still quite noticeable and undesirable.
The problem is _not_ the view being set to "better performance" over "better quality"
The TIFFs are 1920 x 1440. The project is 1280 x 720. Maybe that is the problem but I'm not sure.
I would guess that if you change the project size to match the file size you will see an improvement. In the current state, you can change the spatial conform in the video inspector to NONE and, while the image will be larger than the screen that way, you should be able to see if the sharpness is now present. Likely spatial conform is set to Fit or Fill, causing the 1920 x 1440 Tiff image to downscale so it fits or fills the 1280 x 720 window.
