Long story short, I shot a wedding, the maid of honor had an account on a golf cart half way through the day and so she had a big 3 inch long gash above her left eye, going into her forehead, for the rest of the day.

Is there a plugin anyone could recommend to try and mask this for a few frames here and there during my highlight video montage? Anything that would be better than me photoshopping frame by frame?

Agree 100%. PaintX is probably the best choice. You could also use the object remover in SliceX if there is enough room above and below the scar to shift a clear part of the face in its' place, but for very close up shots this may be more noticeable. Both options track very well.
