EDIT: I had backups after all, obscured by duplicate names on Libraries, only lost 30 seconds of the cut. Still weird to see a project vanish. *shivers*

Good Evening, all. Was just chugging along on a late night edit and screen went black, got 'your computer has shut-down because of a problem.' (Running 10.13.3 on a late 2015 Retina iMac) Restarted, opened FCPX, got Library is damaged message, chose to open anyways. Immediately wanted to copy my main project file into a new library just in case, as it was a fairly new edit and hadn't duplicated yet. Except...I can't find my project file. 4 other projects in there, but the one I was editing at time of crash, and most important one, gone.

Trashed preferences, re-opened, etc, nothing. So I decide to open from backup, instead, but FCPX tells me last backup is from Yesterday. (I cut and released a teaser on the same library this morning, and have been editing the main show for hours this evening.) I go to finder to find my backups. No backups today. That is a new one, in my experience. I've had back-ups crash, too, but not there?! Never.

Currently copying the library onto another drive so I have an exact duplicate to mess with more aggressively, start trashing flexofiles, etc.

All the media is backed up, no worries on that score, but I would like my cut back. The project appears in the finder, inside the package, as a folder, with a lonely CurrentVersion file inside of it. I ran Digital Rebellion (just purchased!) on a duplicate of it and it said it is too corrupt, going to try running it with the library when I have the duplicate in another 29 minutes.

Anybody bringing any hope would be much appreciated.
