At this point, I'm thinking either 1 of 2 things- we get a minor 10.0.8 VERY soon, and a 10.0.9 preview at NAB. OR we get nothing until NAB and 10.0.8 is a big feature update.
I'm busy as sin, so the time will pass by quick either way.

On a side note, I was interested in Disproportionate Pictures' curious expression "busy as sin," which I'd never heard before. It's certainly thought provoking so I searched & found this well written article (though unrelated to FCPX).
Gotta say, I like Seanus' suggestion, hope Apple's listening.
Alright, back to the speculating...

I too have been busy, but here in Oz we say 'Flat out like a lizard drinking' or my favorite: 'Busier than a one armed bricklayer in Baghdad'

He also used to say "He's got a smile bigger than a wave on a slop bucket." And "He looks looks like the South end of a horse heading North."
He's was a hoot.

When I was in the States years ago I heard an expression describing a deceitful man - "He's as crooked as a dog's hind leg."
Speaking of which, I notice one of the sponsors who used to advertise here a lot is now strangely absent...

Gotta say; Iraq under Saddam was a genuinely peaceful place for the average citizen (unless you decided to get into politics, in which case your ass was grass). Crime was relatively low, women had equal rights, and there was no sharia law in Iraq under Saddam; the country had in fact perhaps the most secular legislation in the region.
With the collapse of the dictator, groups pushing a sharia agenda began to increase in power. The same thing is happening in Egypt and Libya right now (Gaddafi had zero tolerance against Islamic parties during his reign).
Essentially Dictators and religion don't mix. Its hard to say you're a pious man when you're swanning around in a fleet of Lamborghini's, drinking Champagne, gambling in Monaco, and eating caviar from a Ukrainian escorts belly button for starters every night.
Most Dictators also hate the plug-in glitches in 10.0.7, and hope that this issue will be resolved with the 10.0.8 update - or else!

I'd have to say one change I'd like in FCPX 10.0.8 is to have the splash with a picture of that Ukrainian woman's belly button, instead of those swishy colors....
just to keep things on topic.
I am seriously laughing out loud.

For me #1 without a doubt would be a "Snow Leopard" release, in other words, make it rock solid and remove all the bugs, most importantly the rendered frames glitch.
Apple actually had me send them project files mid-december to work on it, so I was very disappointed that 10.0.7 didn't fix it.
I also agree that collaborative workflow enhancements would be huge.
Something I have been thinking about would be an "App Store" for FCPX. You buy your plugins and effects right in FCP and you get the same 5 computers to use it on. If you send your project to an editor that didn't buy the plug in, they can still download the plugin so that your project doesn't break on their computer(like it annoying does now), but they can't add it to new files, ect.
Also, I'm thinking all the rough cutting pre work that is now done in the events would be a joy to do in an iPad/iCloud app with some super small h264 file format.

Either way it's still a delightful program to use.

Personally I think Snow Leopard support is going to drop soon. With OS 10.9 coming I can't see Apple supporting 10.6.x at that point. One of the big differences with 10.6 and newer OSs is AVFoundation. I suspect there's code in FCPX for 10.6.8 compatibility that might be dropped as Quicktime fades away.

Secondary Storyline parameters in the Inspector.
Scale, X-Y position, opacity, crop and enable/disable options.
Attach a clip to a timecode
Instead of connecting clips to clips, let me connect them to the TC bar at the top, so they can stay locked at that position.
Individually drag-adjustable Timeline lane heights.
Create auditions from clips/storylines stacked over each other in the timeline.
This would make auditions more useful.
Open sync and Lock gang sync modes.
Timeline playhead matches the corresponding Event Browser clip frame and syncs/locks the Timeline playhead to the matched Event Browser clip Playhead.
True ramp speed effects.
Continuous gradual keyframed ramp speed timing changes rather than the four segment method that FCPX uses now.
Drag an effect
From the Inspector to a clip or selected clips in the Timeline or Event Browser.
