How do I turn off the snapping guidelines in the viewer?

How do I turn off the snapping guidelines in the viewer? was created by JOliver

I'm trying to make a mask but keep having my points "snap" to the center because of the yellow guidelines! I've searched and can't find how to turn them off! Any help?

If you drag the clip from the centre 'Puck' then snapping is the default. To disable it on a move by move basis, apply the Command key.

If you move the clip by dragging anywhere apart from the centre, snapping is off by default.
There is no setting to change these defaults
