Come On fcp.co why are all new items FCPX

Come on (fcp.co) guys .. you set yourselves up as the best FCP site and you were .. until FCPX came along now you seem obsessed !

There are thousands of FCP users out there who did not make move and are perfectly happy with their 4,5,6 ot 7 versions. All your items on the main page are now FCPX centric .. ifthis is how your site is going I am i)very disappointed and ii) going back to Ken Stones site who manages to do a good mix of versions.

I agree, however on the news front it has tended to be all FCPX, all the software writers and hardware companies trying to gain an advantage.

We are using FCP7 every day here for broadcast work and probably will for quite some time - it is not dead by a long way. We will try and dig some 7 news tutorials etc out for you.

many thanks for such a speedy response. Apologies if I sounded a bit grumpy , I am just a little frustrated at all this FCPX obsession every where. Like you and many others I have a perfectly stable, super useable workflow and use Motion, Color a bit odf STP and DVDSP daily.. it all works a treat. Hence I see no reason to throw away all my expensive plugins and flexibility to support existing and archived projects.

One of the big things I loved about your site and shouted about to my colleagues was the wide range of FCP / Videographer related items and how well it was all going .. I am just a tad dissapointed it seems to have just followed the hype herd so blindly.. That said I ;loved the speed test comparison .. FCP7 won
