'Remember Me' for login has never worked

For as long as I can remember, the 'remember me' button has never worked. Luckily my browser will add in my username and password, but every time i come back to this site, no matter if i'm on MacOS, Windows 10, or iOS, or what browser I'm on, i always have to log back in. every single time. What's going on? Am i the only one here?

Nope, we are all dealing with that. On top of no access to private messages (I have several that are very old I've never been able to access nor respond to), nor the ability to edit one's own profile. I think they're permanently disabled.
