Problem attaching file

Hi folks. I tried to attach a ZIP file of a Motion Generator I made in a post to the forum. I followed all the steps, and I saw the attachment in the preview, but when I posted it, there was no attachment. I wonder if this is because I am a relatively new member here, but the first time I tried the same thing (with a different generator I made) it worked.

Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? Or are attachments disabled?

I don't think you can post a .zip file directly, only graphic files (.jpg is the best to use here). Most folks post a link to the .zip file which is stored someone else.

Then the file size is too large. I notice that with screen captures, too. If it's a .png and large, it won't post. I save it as a smaller .jpg and it will post successfully.

Some people forget to hit the insert button after they attach a file but before they hit POST. If you don't hit insert, the attachment doesn't get placed into your post. A zip file should be fine (pending the size limitation as Ben says).
