Hey Peter,
Just to correct the statement…"HyColour & HyColour Pro seem to get good reviews from satisfied users. Priced at $45 and $25 respectively, they won't break the bank either." The pricing is not respectively, Pro is $45.00 and HyColour is $25.00. Need to reverse $$ info.
Thanks for including vid links as I have not heard about them before. Looks promising. Any experience using?
Hope this helps, Greg
p.s. Really liked Terence Curran's approach to instructional vid.

Cheers -I've fixed it.

Heard a lot of good stuff about the plugins but haven't used them myself

For what it's worth, HyColor is also an fcp.co advertiser and supporter, as are some of the others as well.

I liked the video from T. Curran also - color correction/exposure is actually fun and creative and doesn't have to be something terribly complicated.

JFYI The HyColour ad is on an affiliate basis. We get no commission from any Fxfactory product or Resolve Lite (obviously)
The Alphadogs plain link is a courtesy for using Terence's video.
