Here's a teaser of a french documentary, GARI, I've edited on FCPX.

GARI - english trailer

We've just been told it's selected for the 25th edition of the États Généraux du film documentaire , a well-known french documentary festival.

Excellent trailer, Dawar, thoroughly engaging, deftly woven animation with fresh & archived footage, superb selection of music, all resulting in a high HookFactor . Now we're motivated to see your film. Job well done.

Thanks a lot for your input !
Your thread about editing for trailers is quite interesting, lot of good thoughts.
I really enjoy the exercise. You have to be very precise about structure, stakes, but you can be very creative formally.
